Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES® / MCHES®)
The WRPHTC is an approved provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC).
We provide up-to-date, free, competency-based online trainings that strengthen professional competencies and equip health professionals with the skills to work collaboratively across sectors toward health equity.
Continuing Education for Healthcare Professionals
The WRPHTC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Through Joint Accreditation, the WRPHTC is accredited to provide:
- AMA PRA credit for Physicians
- ANCC credit for Nurses
- ACPE credit for Pharmacists
- CDR CPEUs for Dietitians
- IPCE credit
Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits are primarily designed for healthcare teams and professionals who participate in team-based learning activities. These activities are planned by and for the healthcare team, aiming to improve collaborative practice and enhance patient care.

Yes. CHES-approved trainings meet Category I requirements for MCHES.
Are the CHES-approved trainings Category I?
